Why We Built This Site
Connecticut gives the public broad access to many court and agency records, but Hamden does not have a county clerk, county court, or county sheriff. Superior Court case files are handled through the Connecticut Judicial Branch and the correct New Haven court location. Probate files belong with the Hamden-Bethany Probate Court. Marriage, land, trade-name, and permanent town records are handled by the Hamden Town Clerk. Jail custody is statewide DOC or VINE, while local police reports go through Hamden Police Records.
